If Chanhassen has the “highest quality of life in Minnesota,” it’s not because it has a lot of leaky roofs. J. Robert Roofing deserves some credit for that — we’ve both installed and repaired roofs for a number of happy homeowners there. We go out of our way to first listen to your concerns, cautiously inspect problem areas, and get a clear understanding of exactly what you want. Only then do I put our veteran crew to work. And, of course, we don’t charge for an estimate.
I’ve spent the past 20 years in the roofing business, and watched with pride as this lovely community has grown. We have the same allergic reaction to fly-by-night artists as you do. If a roofer you’re thinking of hiring offers you an unusually low bid, beware: If his workmanship is poor, you may have to have your roof done twice. Conversely, be clear up front that there will be no “hidden charges” in the fine print for things you assumed were in the final price.
